Mission

Women of Valor Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization that empowers women from a spiritual perspective to develop life and leadership skills in relation to their roles in the home, the workplace, the community, and the ministry.  Concurrently, women are educated on the availability of secular programs that might assist them in attaining their goals and visions for their lives.

We feel it takes the combination of spiritual renewal through the grace and acceptance of God’s gifts, with the tangible efforts of social service agencies, to truly effect a change in the lives of women who have suffered abuses – physical, sexual, emotional and spiritual.

Benefits

The benefits of the Women of Valor

   program are unmistakable:  increased

   self-esteem, knowledge of available area

   social services, knowledge and

understanding of the role of women in

God’s work, increased ability to perform in

leadership roles within their church and

community, increased knowledge in how to break the cycle of abuse,

increased ability to serve and mentor women, and ordination of women

   into ministry.

By making changes in their lives, these women will pass on a legacy of

faith-based change, personal and spiritual growth, increased well-being,

   and leadership to their children.
